Surf in the Sunlight

Surf's Up
We’ve had some very high winds this past week, so a couple of days ago, I wandered down to the shore to get some wave images.
The Gulf of Maine is a rather large piece of water and so we sometimes get some pretty good rolling waves. The ocean out in front of us is also relatively shallow, so that adds to the wave action. On this particular day, there were even folks out surfing with dry suits on further down the coast, but in front of us, it was so choppy, that would have been tough. And Cold.
Still, even with the wildness of the seas, there was much to watch – gulls flying around looking for food, surf scoters bobbing up and down and the geese flying high overhead looking for calmer waters.
Peace amongst turmoil.
May others be able to find it for themselves.
