Port Maitland Shopping Weekend
Every year the local merchants in the Port Maitland village area have a shopping weekend where we try to bring people out to see what local goodies there are to purchase.
The event this year includes Hubert and Belle’s, a local art and décor store, Hook and Sea, a local craft and gift store, Yacuik’s antique store, Ford Fisheries, Edna’s bakery, Shore Grocery, Green Acres Farm and Bill Curry Photography Gallery and Studio.
Each store is open for their own hours, but all are open at some part of Friday through Sunday, November 22 to the 24th.
Why not make the drive over to Port Maitland and check out the local goods on sale – you never know, you may just find something special, like this week's image printed large and on metal!
A note for Bill Curry Photography Gallery and Studio – our participation this year will be on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, but we’ll only be open from 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday so we may attend a funeral service. As always, the Gallery and Studio are open on a by chance or by appointment schedule year around. Check out our website for more complete information.
