Garlic
Garlic
It's time for the yearly garlic harvest and I got a good crop despite the lack of rain this year. Growing garlic is very rewarding as it has the wonderful scapes in early summer and then the aromatic bulbs in the late summer.
I use it a lot in my cooking, and do go by the words of a well-known chef who said:
“Garlic is divine. Few food items can taste so many distinct ways, handled correctly. Misuse of garlic is a crime…
Please, treat your garlic with respect…
Avoid at all costs that vile spew you see rotting in oil in screwtop jars.
Too lazy to peel fresh? You don’t deserve to eat garlic.”
